How to measure yourself
A good starting point to find your perfect bra is to determine your size by using the traditional route of measuring.
FIRST OF ALL FIND OUT YOUR BRA SIZE - Your bra size is your under bust measurement plus 4 or 5 inches. To find this, measure in inches directly under your breasts ensuring the tape is firm and level across your back. If this number is even add 4 inches to that size. If it is an odd number add 5 inches to it. This number is your bra size.
THEN FIND OUT YOUR CUP SIZE - To do this, measure around the fullest part of your breasts, over your bra, ensuring that the tape is level. This number is your full bust measurement. The difference between your bra size and your bust measurement will determine what your cup size is. Use the table below
- Same as bra = A Cup
- 1 inch more = B Cup
- 2 inch more = C Cup
- 3 inches more = D Cup
- 4 inches more = DD Cup
- 5 inches more = E Cup
- 6 inches more = F Cup and so on.
Here's an example: Your under bust measurement = 30 inches then add 4 inches (because it's an even number) so you know your bra size is a 34. Measure the fullest part of your breasts this is 36 inches. That is a difference of 2 inches, meaning this person is a 34C bra size.
